Abrham Lincoln's Parent Teacher meeting: ideals for his son and our locus standi

He will have to learn, I know,

that all men are not just, all men are not true. But teach him also that for every scoundrel there is a hero;

Today we teach from cradle to grave, if you are with us you are right...

That for every selfish Politician, there is a dedicated leader...

The ratio is exponentially diluted now. There are more 'career politicians' Politics as a shield to illicit business, a front for the family business to avoid being bullied by politicians,

leaders are fools who take risks and expend their lives...(you have to be born, more chances you are not one, organic, situational)

managers are smart who follow footsteps can be minted out a 'b-school'...(free run anyone can become one)

Teach him for every enemy there is a friend,

Vanquish enemies and betray friends for survival and maintain 'the edge' even at the cost of ethics. Nullify the different(from thee) and maximize gains from 'friends'(likes). You cannot have a friend who is different from you...(that's actually hurting some network)

Steer him away from envy,if you can,
'competitive' life is built on the foundation of envy, a more acceptable term.

Teach him the secret of quiet laughter.

recorded laud laughter when the poor 'professional comedian' falls while alighting a flight of steps...(the wit and sense of humor are reduced to this unfortunate graphic),.. or when Jerry trashes Tom...or vice versa.

Let him learn early that
the bullies are the easiest to lick...

Teach him, if you can,the wonder of books...
we have games, shooting video games, when the kids run out of variety, they shoot in high schools...to test the sprinkling of real blood

Today We teach if you are with us you are correct...from cradle to grave.

But also give him quiet time to ponder the eternal mystery of birds in the sky,
bees in the sun, and the flowers on a green hillside.

the best nature scenics they see are the screen savers... when last time the 'windows' were open (release).

In the school teach him
it is far honorable to fail than to cheat...

success is the goal no matter how we reach it, people love winners 1st place is most important media doesn't talk about 2nd rankers forget loosing... win by hook or crook. honesty is just a policy... not a virtue... be honest only 'just not get into trouble'...be legally (politically) correct.  be smart.

Teach him to have faith in his own ideas, even if everyone tells him they are wrong...

Teach him to be gentle with gentle people, and tough with the tough.

be tough(rude) or gentle as per how people around are.... you can get away being tough with gentle but not when you are tough with the tough (avoid trouble) play smart.

Try to give my son
the strength not to follow the crowd when everyone is getting on the bandwagon...
Follow the trend (read herd), it cool to do what is shown 'as seen on TV' ...

Teach him to listen to all men...
allow him to listen only what we want him to,
but teach him also to filter all he hears on a screen of truth, and take only the good that comes through.
keep away from truth or 'other schools', let him grow into a biased pervert.

Teach him if you can,
how to laugh when he is sad...
he is trained how to laugh when others(other school people) are sad.

Teach him there is no shame in tears,

Teach him to scoff at cynics

yield to cynics, meet others' expectations in 'looking cool' matters..

and to beware of too much sweetness...
stop thinking and be gullible to extra sweet sales, 'network' pitch....

Teach him to sell his brawn and brain to the highest bidders
that is done inadvertently followed by...

but never to put a price-tag on his heart and soul.
sale of heart and soul if not to currency to biases of childhood and 'network' affiliations...

Teach him to close his ears to a howling mob
pays attention to look good for others, what do they say... ..

and to stand and fight if he thinks he's right.
never take a stand (sure of incompetence in expert judgement )...be on the border or wall,... jump on the winning side and be smart..

Treat him gently, but do not cuddle him, because only the test
of fire makes fine steel.

pamper him to death... after all he is a consumer to be... for big consumption economy programmed to pay ...just consume.. hard work is menial...outsource dirty jobs...

Let him have the courage
to be impatient...
misdirected impatience readily available...

let him have the patience to be brave.
patience is seen/depicted as sign of weakness let alone perceived as bravery...impertinence and 4 lettered words in popular media and life shown as cool and style...

Teach him always to have sublime faith in himself,
overconfidence in self
because then he will have sublime faith in mankind.
he grows up to have faith in Nationality(dole), access to networks (race, faith, denominations, cults, castes, ghettos) ....mankind is too big a radius for him to handle. far cry...good in quotations.

This is a big order,
but see what you can do...

He is such a fine fellow, my son!

Signed The President of the United States, who added value to the Chair.

The only President(thus far) who holds a design patent for an innovative flotation device and be a notable wrestler. inspiration to the world folks.

The orator whose actions spake as well. A tall leader who took a stand(honestly stating) by singing the proclamation, emancipation being an ingredient in the recipe of unification.

Brain(categorical and objective) and Heart (empathizing and magnanimous) in their right places. Striking the sensitive balance between a  duty-bound perspective  (of saving the Union of what it is today), political accuracy statesmanship, and personal 'oft-echoed' wish of freedom for all everywhere, anywhere not just in select pockets.  inspired advocates and lawyers world wide to fight for freedom and justice of the voiceless.
