I had a Dream: Obama to fight legal battle for Bhopal / Anderson victims
I had a dream…: (this is not a parody of a vision statement, a real dream, due to the remix mock-tail of information in the kaleidoscope of my subconscious…)
Last night I was surfing through news channels,
· Obama’s butt search for Oil spill root causers
· A documentary on Alzheimer’s disease for Octanegrians ( 80+ dudes)
· India waking up to missing Anderson’s butt, etc
· In between repeated adverts of and a Cisko Teleprensese human network,
· Repeated adverts of ‘Bingo spicy potato chips’
· Janitor’s tools and Clorex floor cleaning…
· Msg on blackberry : reminder: fill sharp owl time sheet tommorow
Woke up to a rather usual morning…
The dream screamed headlines like this:
All news TV channels, soaring with TRP…the news…
“President Obama decides to adore black gown again…fight for justice for Bhopal victims, off camp David, …
Having understood and moved by the sheer volume of tragedy … who else can understand better than the former community service expert…
And the justice delayed and but delivered by powerful presidential intervention.”
India govt. sets up a fast track court, (only in dreams)
Finally the Lawyer in Obama to presents defense for lethal gas victims from remote via Cisco Telepresence the greenest way to commute ideas.
Warren Anderson attempts to fake wishes he had Ahzheimer’s on Larry king Live…of course he adds another laurel to his CV appearing on Larry king live… was about to be bestowed… “inventor/guru of outsourcing to sweat shops where you can play with law and polity… commence…hornary PhD. For 'innovation' in business from Harvard School.”
anti-anderson camp blogs, "if he is not guilty why is he evading law wherever...living with guilt a however hedontistic a life is punishment in itself... how could he keep job get promoted, live a eat daily and lead normal life... after having some degree of involvment in the death of 15000 and countless crippled..."
Pro anderson camp, golf club peers, "measuring life from bottom line perspective he may be considered happy but in reality...the conscience pesters unto death...(if there is one)"
After 1 weekend (2 days) of time spent on the trail by all the distinguished defense lawyer, busy-about-nothing judiciary in India, and try-to-appease-all but self-first-politicians in India, 'the land of traitors'. Bingo…the verdict arrives…
A janitor in India who never filled his time sheet was found guilty and root cause of the problem… was sentenced for 500 years on multiple counts of offence (not cleaning thoroughly, Andersons cabin, misplacing documents, sweeping under carpet “for god’s sake not literally”…)
Every body has a takeaway in the deal: this they call win-win deal for all:
· Indian politicians pound of flesh
· Judiciary: bought time (fast track court is the last thing they want to hear…)
· Lawyers…TRP…publicity mileage…for volunteering time and catalyzing judgment…
· Couch potato viewers: entertainment…
· Victims kith and kin, “Somebody has got a harsh punishment…finally…”
· Janitor, “his family needs taken care of
Morals out of the dream:
1) Never sleep on couch
2) one popular Hindi idiom: “Jiski haath mein hogi lathi bhains vohi le jayega…”
“The one with stick wields power and drives home cattle..”
PS: Janitors defense lawyer most underpaid, appeals to higher court, his rational appeal , “ keep me and my client alive for at least 400 years alive and then you can punish him for 500 years, we will remain witness to His-story.” Or sorry story rather
The judge orders Scientists and Medical fraternity to investigate ways to find out these two people be kept alive for 400+ years….
“Till we hear from them we will wait ,
The court is adjourned…”

Perfect script recipe for a dream, connectionless, in coherent, mixed up… like life.
